"Two things guys... Number one, I heard everything you said Marion, and number two we really need to get started."

"Um... Marion, you're meant to be reading up on interior design... Not reading romantic novels..."

So then after some talking and gossiping and then hair-pulling, we actually got some decorating done!

"Hey, Vicky, have you ever thought about losing the jeans?"

"I mean, the top is okay...Ish... But the jeans as well? Seriously Vicky, I expected better than that."

"A skirt would've been so much prettier. But without the hat though. That 'thing' is the worst."

"I'd rather play Uno with a llama than take your fashion advice, Marion. I wish you'd just leave us all alone."

Meanwhile, I was making Macaroni Cheese for our dinner. It's kind of like re-uniting Mac & Cheese since we all agreed on everything whilst eating it.

And lo behold, they ate the Mac & Cheese and rejoiced in its re-uniting powers.

And then I went to bed. I love my new sheets!! They're so pretty.

“Hey, Tim, Why didn’t Lola or Victoria come?”

“Um… Maybe because they’re working?! Unlike someone…”

"But you're not working. Don't you have a job?"

"Shut up, Marion!! God, you're just the same as when we were kids!"

"You'll never be quiet and if you don't like it you'll have a tantrum!!"

"Why the heck did I invite you round here anyway?! I could've invited Shirley or Roxie, but noo.."

"Who's Roxie?"

Again, after constant arguing, they had finished.

"Look, Marion. I have to go to work. Thanks for 'helping' me. I suppose."

"So you do have a job."

"For Pete's sake..."

"Wait, wait, wait. Who's Pete?"

"Timothy?"

Okay, well that’s Timothy’s house done.

But more worrying than Marion’s IQ, cracks are starting to show in our relationships… This can’t be good.

After a few hours of arguing and debating, they were done… more or less…

"...and then a llama fell out of the sky!"

"I'm not kidding!"

“Yeah, sure. If that really happened, then I’m Bella Goth!”

"Oh my Plumbbob! I've only got £39 left!! Lola, you spent all my money!!!"

"Victoria. It's okay. We'll find a way around this. We always do."

"Just go, Lola. You've already done enough."

"Woah! Victoria's house is so dusty! Waachoo!"

Well, if you ask me, it’s her fault! She was the one who suggested all the re-decorating!

Hmph. Bye.

First off to get a job is Victoria.

Her dream since she was little was to be a news-reader. So, she cycles to the business district of the suburbs and walked (nervously, as always) to the journalism towers.

After a few hours, she walks out with a tiny smile on her face. You know, Victoria doesn’t smile that often. Nobody was ever sure why. She only really smiles when she’s around Timothy, when we were kids they were as thick as thieves. Until they were older it was like they were joined at the hip.

Next was Timothy.

He got otherwise distracted.

But, he did land himself a job in the sports career, so I guess he earned it. I suppose you wouldn’t be surprised if I said he was one of the more popular kids at school. Well he wasn’t. It was mainly becuase he was from a far wealthier family than the rest of the children, and we were his siblings. The only one of us that was popular was Marion but none of friends actually liked her.

Then it was me.

I got a job as a cook. Which was probably a really bad choice because I burn baked beans. Hmm.

But Marion decided she didn't need a job.

Even though she was complaining to me how she hasn’t got any money. Her future doesn’t look very bright.

*Phone rings*

“Hello? Hi! How are you? Yeah… yeah… okay. Bye.”

Okay I have something to talk about!!! The villagers!!! They’re so interesting! Listen, there was this weird gypsy-type lady who has this MASSIVE family all crammed in a really tiny house. And then I met a couple who lived on a mansion on the top of a big hill who said their house is haunted by the family that used to live there THEN I met a guy who was called Lucky. But I got tired so I went shopping to calm me down and unwind and when I was paying for some bubble-bath I realised I didn’t have any money and went back home. But I didn’t have a home so I moved in with my best-friend who I don’t actually like who lives here and kicked her out so now I have a *relatively* nice house. And now I’m going to sleep because I’m so tired.

Okay… Let me see. Well, Lola claimed the parent subject and Vicky probably chose us…. So I’ll have… I’ve got it! I know loads about the village where we got ‘dumped’.

First off the name of it is Old Oak Valley, referring to a grey, misshapen oak tree on the top of a hill near the beginning of the river that runs through the town. And the river, it’s the habitat of a frog that only lives in Old Oak Valley. It’s poisonous though, so… yeah.

Um.. Oh yeah. This is where dad grew up. Most of the villagers here knew dad when he lived here. I’ve asked around a bit and it seems that dad’s family kicked him out when he was a teenager. Apparently it was because he was spending way too much of their money… Hypocrite.

So, the village is quite rural in the middle, but out on the suburbs there’s a stadium, factories, e.t.c. But going back to the centre, there’s a little grocery shop and a bookshop… it’s very cute. Dad said that when he was growing up there he lived with the family who owned the bookshop. I met up with them recently. I don’t really remember their names, but their daughter was… charming. Yeah.

But contrary to the lovely people and quaint buildings Old Oak Valley holds a dark secret… Not that I know what it is I just wanted to create suspense.

Err… anyway, this is me.

I dress louder than I speak...

You know, none of my traits are actually ‘shy’. My mum was shy though, so I guess I get it from her.

Okay, well… Knowing Lola she’s probably told you all about our parents, so I’ll tell you about us (Me, Marion, Lola and Timothy).

First born was Timothy.

That's him there.

He's a bit of a lady's man.

He’s really quite clever though. When we were small, he would always help us with our homework, or tutor us if we were stuck in lessons.

He’s also a vegetarian, like Marion. Mum brought us all up as vegetarians, but Lola sort of gave up on it because it reminded her too much of mum, but since I was 3 at the time she died, no one gave me the guidance to carry on being one.

The next born was Lola, but she’s told you a bit about herself. But there is one thing she probably doesn’t want you to know… so I won’t tell you until you’ve got to know her a bit better.

After Lola, Marion was born. I don’t have much to say about Marion. To be honest I don’t really like her that much. She acts so spoilt!!! Every time dad denied her money, she’d scream and have a tantrum like a toddler!!! *Calm down Victoria… remember what your therapist told you…* Um… sorry about that little out burst. Let’s just move on, shall we?

And last born was me. I’m the most secluded one in the family, apart from great-aunt Ethel. She was a tiny bit on the crazy side though. When most people who knew my mother well meet me, they say I’m the spitting image of her. Heh.

I read a lot, so in school I did pretty well. I bet it doesn’t surprise you that people would call me a nerd and bully me. It didn’t really phase me at all.
